About the Role
The Senior Officer – Store will be responsible for ensuring smooth material flow, warehouse discipline, SAP posting accuracy and timely issuance of materials so that production never stops. The role requires someone who understands how inventories behave in a live shop floor environment and who can handle store challenges with a practical approach.
This position demands both planning and execution skills because you will deal with import GRN, stock variance, FIFO practices, and coordination with suppliers and transporters.
Key Responsibilities
- Handling import GRN and container unloading.
- Preparing RGP and NRGP documents as per process.
- Ensuring timely submission of supplier and transporter bills to the Finance department.
- Performing perpetual inventory checks.
- Initiating cost saving projects related to store and material flow.
- Maintaining proper warehouse space utilisation and 5S standards.
- Material issuance as per Reservation or PO and ensuring availability in the Production Kanban area.
- Preventing production line stoppage by ensuring timely availability of CKD materials.
- Monitoring FSN items and ensuring no non-moving inventory lies in the CKD store.
- Managing monthly stock taking, perpetual inventory, and reconciliation with book value.
- Maintaining inventory strictly on FIFO basis.
- Controlling inventory based on ABC classification.
