Procurement & Quality Group – Deputy Manager / Assistant Manager
KIA India is conducting a walk-in interview drive on 21st November 2025 at its Bangalore office for multiple roles across Quality Group and Procurement Group. All openings are for experienced professionals with strong technical backgrounds in automotive quality, development, procurement and supplier management.

QUALITY GROUP – All Openings in KIA India
1. Department: New Car Quality Development (Vehicle Evaluation)
Position: Deputy Manager / Assistant Manager
Experience Required: Minimum 10 to 15 years
Education: B.E / B.Tech
Skills Required:
- Suspension & steering performance evaluation
- Powertrain vehicle performance testing
- Vehicle ride & handling assessment
- Improvements tracking till implementation
- Benchmarking & competitor comparison analysis
- Cross-functional team experience
- EV / ADAS understanding
- Knowledge of ADAS functions
- BMS knowledge & EV range evaluation
Role Summary:
This role focuses on evaluating new model vehicles, testing their performance, studying competitor benchmarks, and supporting implementation of improvements across the development cycle.

2. Department: New Car Quality Development (Chassis & Interior Parts)
Position: Assistant Manager
Experience Required: 5 to 7 years
Education: B.E / B.Tech
Skills Required:
- Strong understanding of braking, steering, exhaust, cooling, fuel, wheels & tyre parts
- Knowledge of part development process
- Experience in AUTOCAD / CATIA
- Handling ISIR (PPAP) / Part & Process Audit
- Exposure to special processes (Painting, Coating, Welding, Heat Treatment)
- Supplier process audit skills
- Ability to perform multiple quality control audits and ensure vendor standards
Role Summary:
Focuses on quality of chassis and interior components, supplier audits, engineering support for part development and ensuring parts meet KIA quality expectations.

3. Department: Parts Quality (QC)
Position: Deputy Manager / Assistant Manager
Experience Required: 3 to 15 years
Education: B.E / B.Tech
Skills Required:
- Supplier parts approvals (4M / EO)
- Process and product audits
- Supplier quality improvement actions
- In-line issues identification & resolution
- Handling all supplier/parts related exigencies
Role Summary:
Ensures parts supplied to the plant meet quality standards through supplier evaluations, audits and continuous improvement actions.
4. Department: Vehicle Quality (QC)
Position: Deputy Manager / Assistant Manager
Experience Required: 3 to 15 years
Education: B.E / B.Tech
Skills Required:
- New model car & pre-SOP vehicle evaluation
- Static, dynamic, tester & shower quality confirmation
- Document preparation (spec sheets, inspection standards, WIS)
Role Summary:
This role ensures that both pre-production and mass production vehicles pass all static & dynamic quality checks (ride, handling, safety, water leakage, etc.).
5. Department: Quality Assurance (QA – Vehicle Auditor)
Position: Deputy Manager / Assistant Manager
Experience Required: 3 to 15 years
Education: B.E / B.Tech
Skills Required:
- Mass production vehicle audits
- Knowledge of WWSCOP & EV quality
- Preparation of audit plans & procedures
- Yard storage quality audits
- Port-parked car quality confirmation
Role Summary:
Ensures outgoing vehicles meet KIA global audit standards and manages vehicle quality in yard storage, ports and dispatch phases.
6. Department: Quality Assurance (Quality Improvement – QA)
Position: Deputy Manager / Assistant Manager
Experience Required: 3 to 15 years
Education: B.E / B.Tech
Skills Required:
- 3M, 12M, 36M & Warranty cost reduction
- Field claim analysis & quick resolution
- INCA / Data Loggers / Powertrain CAN
- CPU reduction, recall policy, campaign planning
Role Summary:
Handles field quality improvement and works on reducing warranty cost through root-cause analysis and corrective actions.

7. Department: Parts Development (MCM / UBBP / PPP)
Position: Deputy Manager / Assistant Manager
Experience Required: 3 to 10 years
Education: B.E / B.Tech
Skills Required:
- Procurement processes
- New parts development (Trims, Chassis, Electrical commodities)
- Zero base costing & negotiations
- Strong supplier coordination
Role Summary:
Responsible for developing new components, managing supplier development and supporting cost optimisation.
8. Department: Total Cost Innovation
Position: Deputy Manager / Assistant Manager
Experience Required: 3 to 10 years
Education: B.E / B.Tech
Skills Required:
- Procurement processes
- VAVE activity management
- Cross-functional coordination
- Implementing cost reduction ideas
Role Summary:
Focused on cost innovation, VAVE improvements and supporting KIA’s total cost management strategy.
9. Department: Cyber Security (Supply Chain)
Position: Deputy Manager / Assistant Manager
Experience Required: 3 to 6 years
Education: B.E / B.Tech
Skills Required:
- Supply chain cyber security
- ISO 21434 / TARA / UNR155 exposure
- VTA approval
- Supply chain risk management
Role Summary:
Secures the digital and operational supply chain systems of the manufacturer and ensures compliance with global cyber standards.
10. Department: General Purchase – Raw Material (Steel)
Position: Deputy Manager / Assistant Manager
Experience Required: 3 to 10 years
Education: B.E / B.Tech
Skills Required:
- Steel raw material procurement
- Coil centre management
- Handling steel mills
- Government regulations & EXIM knowledge
- Cross-functional communication
Role Summary:
Manages steel raw material purchasing, vendor coordination and ensures smooth supply for production lines.
