Role Overview
This role requires you to work closely with clients, internal teams and the manufacturing section. Your job is to understand the requirement clearly and convert it into components that match Siemens standards. The work involves design, analysis and refinement of mechanical components while following relevant international guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a connecting point between client, company and manufacturing
- Understand customer briefings and convert them into suitable component designs
- Analyse mechanical designs and make changes based on the requirement
- Follow national and international standards in all design activities
- Maintain the quality and brand value of Siemens through accurate engineering work
Required Technical Skills
- Good product knowledge of Air Insulated Panels and Vacuum Circuit Breakers
- Strong hands-on practice in NX, SolidWorks or AutoCAD for 3D modelling
- Capability to design customer specific parts and assemblies
- Understanding of mechanical assemblies and mechanisms
- Familiar with Change Management Process
- Knowledge of the latest IEC standards
- Aware of type tests used in MV Air Insulated Panels and VCBs under IEC
- Practical troubleshooting approach for design and assembly issues

Experience and Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
- Overall work experience of 2 to 3 years
- Experience in NX / SolidWorks 3D modelling
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP
