Key Responsibilities

As the Manager – Tractor PDI & Cabin Assembly, you will lead the final stages of tractor production to ensure every unit meets Mahindra’s high standards for quality, reliability, and safety.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Overseeing the Tractor PDI process to ensure post-assembly inspections are executed effectively, identifying defects, and implementing corrective measures.
Managing Cabin Assembly operations, driving continuous improvements in productivity, cost control, and equipment efficiency using Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) principles.
Collaborating with production planning, quality assurance, and supply chain teams to synchronize operations and ensure on-time delivery.
Implementing maintenance and equipment management strategies to minimize downtime and enhance operational reliability.
Promoting safety, compliance, and sustainability in all manufacturing processes.
Building and mentoring a high-performing team, encouraging innovation, ownership, and professional development.
Preparing detailed reports and quality metrics to support senior management decisions and continuous improvement.

Educational Qualification

Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
Diploma holders with extensive manufacturing experience will also be considered.
Additional certifications in Quality Management, TPM, or Project Management are an advantage.
Strong understanding of engineering principles, process optimization, and quality assurance within automotive or heavy machinery manufacturing.

Experience Required

7–10 years of experience in manufacturing operations, preferably in tractor or heavy equipment industries.
Proven record of managing production lines, quality control, and PDI operations.
Hands-on experience in TPM, equipment reliability, and maintenance management.
Experience with regulatory compliance, performance management, and operational excellence initiatives.
Strong leadership in production planning, team development, and cost optimization.

Critical Experience & Skills

In-depth expertise in Tractor PDI and Cabin Assembly operations.
Proficiency in TPM, maintenance management systems, and continuous improvement practices.
Demonstrated ability in strategic business orientation, customer satisfaction, and innovation-driven transformation.
