The 2nd Stage CBT shortlists candidates based on normalized marks from CBT 1. The difficulty level is higher, focusing on analytical and application-based questions.
RRB NTPC 10+2 CBT 2 Syllabus 2025
The syllabus for CBT 2 remains the same as CBT 1, but the questions will be more in-depth and concept-based.
Minimum Qualifying Marks:
- UR / EWS – 40%
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) – 30%
- SC – 30%
- ST – 25%
(PwBD candidates are given a relaxation of 2% marks in case of shortage of candidates.)
Typing Skill Test (CBTST):
For posts like Junior Clerk cum Typist and Accounts Clerk cum Typist, candidates must qualify the Computer Based Typing Skill Test:
- 30 words per minute in English or 25 WPM in Hindi on computer.
- Typing test is qualifying in nature; marks are not added to the merit list.
- PwBD candidates with valid certificates are exempted.
