- Ability to work on engineering projects and cross-functional coordination
Required Skills
Candidates applying for the Product Design and Development (R and D) roles should have the following skills:
- Strong knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical or Automobile engineering concepts
(especially related to vehicle systems, components and design fundamentals) - Hands-on experience in Product Design and Development
including understanding of design lifecycle, testing, validation and engineering change processes. - Proficiency in CAD tools
such as Creo, Catia, SolidWorks or any other 3D modelling software used in automotive design. - Basic understanding of GD and T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
for interpreting and creating engineering drawings. - Experience in problem solving and root cause analysis
using tools like 5 Why, Ishikawa, FMEA or similar techniques.
